LED Christmas lights are designed with a longer lifespan than other types of string lights. LED lights have the ability to last for up to 4000 hours, whilst other incandescent bulbs only around 2,000 hours. Investing in LED Christmas lights means that you can use them year after year when the tree comes out.
LED lights consume less energy than other traditional lights, up to 80% less in fact. This means that you can enjoy a beautifully lit up tree without worrying about the cost of having the lights on so often.

LED Christmas fairy lights are incredibly safe, so you don’t have to worry about them being put on the trees, because they generate less heat. This means that no matter what decorations you have on your tree around the lights, you don’t have to worry about the risk of them being a fire hazard.

Secure the lights at the top of the tree, and then wrap them in a downward direction, moving them in a spiral pattern. This ensures the top is suitably lit up, and reduces the problem of running out too soon before you reach the bottom.

Begin at the bottom of the tree and work upwards, keeping them evenly spaced as you go. Ensure you have good coverage and tuck any excess into the branches when you reach the top.

This is a classic method: start at the top or bottom and weave the lights through the branches of the tree in a horizontal pattern.

Create vertical lines by hanging the lights from the top of the tree and draping them down to the bottom, creating vertical lines and going back up in a U shape. This is an especially good method for if you have a big tree with lots of coverage needed.

It is hard to determine an exact number of lights, as it depends on the size of the tree and how many lights you want to wrap around it. This is a general guide:
6ft artificial tree: between 400 and 600 lights
7ft artificial tree: between 500 and 700 lights
8ft artificial tree: between 600 and 800 lights
9ft artificial tree: between 700 and 900 lights
